Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

Peanut Butter Fudge
Cubic, finished peanut butter fudge

To make peanut butter fudge, you will need:

  • 1 cup of your favorite peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • Half a stick of margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • A saucepan
  • A buttered 9x9 pan

Pour milk in the saucepan, then add sugar, margarine and a pinch of salt. Mix for a minute, then heat to a boil while stirring vigorously.

After about 5 minutes, take a small sample and see if it forms a soft ball in cold water: if it does remove from heat, then add peanut butter and vanilla.
Beat until the contents are cramy and pour into the buttered pan. Cool in fridge.

A "chocolate" variation of this recipe can be made by adding two tablespoons of cocoa before boiling!

Ghost-shaped fudge
